This beautiful route runs directly along Lake Achensee and is perfect for the whole family. It leads past the Atoll leisure center to Achenkirch on the northern shore of the lake.
This tour takes you from the Karwendel cable car up to beautiful heights, along a forest path toward Perchertal and from there over 5 hairpin bends to below the mountain station. Then it’s a short stretch down to the Bärenbadalm restaurant. Continue across meadows through the Hörndlgraben and the Gufelwald forest down into the Tristenautal valley and across the valley floor back to the starting point.
Start on the forest path toward the Bärenbadalm restaurant. From there, continue through the Gufelwald forest into the Tristenautal valley. After crossing the stream, you will pass the toll booth and the valley station of the Karwendel cable car before returning to the lake.
If you are looking for a real challenge, then this tour is just right for you. From the Alpine inn Gern Alm, a steep path with sharp bends leads you up to the Plumssattel mountain hut.
