Your hosts
Family-run and authentic. We take pride in upholding tradition and treating our guests with warm hospitality. Our passionately run family business started out as a small guesthouse in 1947. Each family member has their own set of tasks and dedicated area. From the front desk to the kitchen. And together we create the perfect setting for your vacation with us. Let us introduce you to the special highlights of our region.
Markus
Our chef Markus is the first person to walk through the door in the morning and the last one to leave. He bakes homemade cakes, handles all repairs, and takes his grandson Emilio for his daily walk. In the evening, he helps with the service and can be found at the bar late at night.
Barbara
She starts early in the morning with breakfast service. She is currently standing in for Sabine at the front desk and is back at the table in the evening.
Manuel
As head chef, he and his kitchen team take care of our guests’ culinary delights. He is also responsible for staff management, but, of course, his favorite pastime is “being a dad”.
Sebastian
Sebastian is currently attending a training seminar in Vienna, with his girlfriend Chiara of course.
Sabine
Sabine is currently a full-time mom and lovingly takes care of her little son Emilio. But she is already looking forward to taking care of the front desk and service again a little later.
History
Our family has been at home in Pertisau since 1897. However, if you take a closer look at our family crest, you will quickly notice the year 1615.
As a family and as your hosts, we are closely connected to our homeland, the mountains, and Lake Achensee. This makes us the ideal people to show you the region from our own personal point of view.
We started out as a small guesthouse in 1947 and continued to grow until we evolved into the hotel you see before you today. It was expanded in 2014 to include our apartment building. Today, our buildings are the vacation home of numerous regular guests.
Our natural treasure, our “Tyrolean shale oil”, is also deeply rooted in our family history. As our guests, you can discover the Tyrolean shale oil at special rates in the Vitalberg right next to our hotel.
