By car
You can use the toll-free road via the Achenpass or Bad Tölz.
Via the Inntal highway:

From Munich:
Coming from Munich, take highway exit Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achenpass, or Bad Tölz – state border, Achenkirch – Maurach – Pertisau
By public transport
By train to Jenbach station, then by bus or cab to Achensee.
By train to Tegernsee station, then by cab or bus via Kreuth to Achenkirch to Achensee.

Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) schedule
Arrival and departure by bus from Jenbach to the villages of Achenkirch, Maurach, Pertisau, and Steinberg are free for all guests. Please simply show the reservation confirmation of your booked accommodation when you are boarding the bus.
During your vacation you can also travel free of charge by bus between the villages of Achenkirch, Maurach, Pertisau, and Steinberg. You will receive your free bus ticket when you reach your vacation accommodation.
By air
Innsbruck airport is 50 km away. From there, continue by bus, train, or rental car to Achensee.
