Part of our family has dedicated itself entirely to extracting oil from local slate. You can find out how this works and what the history of Tyrolean shale oil is all about at the Vitalberg Museum. As guests of our hotel, you get a discount on the admission fee as well as special rates at the Vitalberg adventure world, which is located right opposite us.

The historic Achensee Railway was commissioned back in 1889 and looks back on an eventful history. The nostalgic rack railway takes you from Jenbach to the top of the Achensee region and will delight you with beautiful postcard views.
